This activity is a concrete form of promoting the products of Bandung City business actors on a national scale. This program is implemented in the form of a trade exhibition involving Bandung City business actors as participants.

"We have innovations on how to promote and increase the competitiveness of business actors through the Bandung Week Market," said the Acting Head of the Bandung City Disdagin, Ronny Ahmad Nurudin to Bandung City Public Relations Monday 6 May 2024.

"We want Bandung City business actors to have export potential, not only on a local scale, but also on a national scale," he continued.

At this event, Bandung Week Market presented 20 business actors from the city of Bandung with various product categories including fashion products, accessories, culinary (packaged food and drinks) and "home decor products".

For information, Bandung Week Market 2024 is the fifth edition. This activity was first held in 2020, as an effort to promote local products from the city of Bandung during the Covid-19 pandemic.

From edition to edition, Bandung Week Market always presents quality local products from the city of Bandung. Not only that, the turnover obtained from this activity is always recorded as extraordinary. For example, in 2023, around IDR 1.4 billion in turnover will be achieved through this event.

Ronny is optimistic that at the Bandung Week Market 2024, the turnover achieved can exceed last year's achievement. Moreover, in this edition, the Bandung Week Market was held during the long holiday weekend.

“Many hotels and accommodations in Bali are fully booked. "And we hope that the presence of the Bandung Week Market can attract consumers from tourists who stay overnight," said Ronny.

Not only promoting local business products, at the Bandung Week Market 2024, Ronny said that some of the potential of the city of Bandung will also be exhibited so that it can be seen by tourists from outside the city of Bandung.

"We are collaborating with Dekranasda Bandung City supported by several OPDs: Diskominfo, Disbudpar, Diskop UKM, Economics Section. The hope is that we can expose typical Bandung City products. "We also hope that other potentials in the city of Bandung can be promoted at this event," concluded Ronny. (ray)**
