Creating Quality Families, Sindangjaya Subdistrict Launches Family Planning Village
To create quality and competitive families, Sindangjaya Village, Mandalajati District, Bandung City prioritizes the Family Planning Village program.
In the Sindangjaya sub-district it is called the Serumpun Family Planning Village which has a vision and mission of creating healthy, prosperous, creative and quality small families.
Its mission is to create happy and healthy families physically and mentally, improve the economy of independent families, uphold culture and customs and create quality families with the Bangga Kencana program.
"The goal is to improve the quality of life in our area," explained Sindangjaya Village Head, Yayan Syurya Mulyana in a Podcast Activity with Bandung Public Relations, Tuesday 7 May 2024.
He revealed that there are 8 foundations for implementing this KKB, namely the religious working group, education working group, environmental working group, economic working group, reproduction working group, socio-cultural working group, love working group and protection working group.
"Everyone's human resources have their own potential. We work together in every activity," he said.
He added that the presence of the KKB had a positive impact on environmental health. One of them, the stunting rate in the Sindangjaya area has decreased.
"In 2023 we will receive assistance for Healthy Kitchens to Overcome Stunting. A full month of cooking to overcome stunting. Thank God, on this basis, it has decreased from 42 cases to 40 cases, weight and height are visible. We will continue to monitor this," he explained. (yan)* *
