Analog TV broadcasts that have been around for almost 60 years in Indonesia will be replaced by digital TV broadcasts no later than November 2021. This is based on Law no. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation which adds broadcasting regulations.
The digital TV broadcasting system is not only capable of transmitting image and sound data, but also has multifunctional and multimedia capabilities such as interactive services and can even provide disaster-related early warning information.
