BANDUNG CITY AGAIN AWARDS HIGHLY INNOVATIVE CATEGORY ribs

Please note, for 4 consecutive years the City of Bandung has won the very innovative city award.

This year, only 14 local governments have won the highly innovative category and 31 local governments have won the innovative category.

In West Java, there were only two cities that won the award, one of which was Bandung City with a score of 60.29.

For this, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, expressed his gratitude. The award is a motivation to continue to innovate and improve in order to provide excellent service to the community.

"The award is not the main goal, because the focus that is put forward is the continuous improvement of public services and developing innovation in a sustainable manner," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Development Planning and Research Agency (Bappelitbang) of Bandung City, Anton Sunarwibowo, revealed that the regional innovation assessment and awarding of the IGA was carried out in four stages, namely the stages of screening, measuring, evaluating, validating, to determining and awarding awards.

The Bandung City Government through Bappelitbang as the leading sector has been reporting on innovations made for the last 2 years online, realtime and transparently.

"A total of 76 innovations were included, consisting of Public Service Innovations, Governance Innovations and other Innovations," he said.

He also hopes that the superior innovations that are included in the IGA contest can motivate all levels of government in the city of Bandung to continuously develop themselves.
