BANDUNG CITY GETS HIGH COMPLIANCE PREDICATE OF PUBLIC SERVICES FROM OMBUDSMAN

Based on the results of a survey on the predicate of public service compliance with 98 city governments, the City of Bandung managed to achieve a score of 81.04.

"Thank you for this award. This shows that the service that the Bandung City Government provides is good. Hopefully, we are on the right track to do our various efforts in serving the community much better," said the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Indonesian Ombudsman, Mokhamad Najih, revealed that in 2021 his party will assess 587 agencies with details of 24 ministries, 15 institutions, 34 provincial governments and 316 district governments and 98 city governments.

The compliance value is categorized into three zoning, namely the green zone with the predicate of high compliance, the yellow zone with the predicate of moderate compliance, and the red zone with the predicate of low compliance.

"Service products assessed by local governments include 4 substances, namely licensing, health, population administration and education," he explained.

Najih further said that the assessment of public service compliance is the only national priority mandate in the 2020-2024 RPJMN.

It aims to improve and refine public service policies in order to prevent mal-administration.

"So we must view this assessment as a strategic instrument in assessing the performance of public services in national development," he said.

"The assessment is carried out on public service standards with electronic and non-electronic media, this is done in order to support the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE)," he added. (tan)**
