Yana Hopes Young Football Talents of Bandung City Exist on the National and World Stage

Plt. Mayor of Bandung Yana Mulyana hopes that there will be more young footballers from Bandung who decorate Indonesian and even world football. This was conveyed by Yana in the 2022 PSSI Bandung City Association Ordinary Congress.

Yana who acts as the Head of PSSI Bandung Askot also appreciates the role and involvement of all parties in building football in the city of Bandung.

"Of course, this effort cannot run smoothly without the help of 36 PS in the city of Bandung who always take part in the competition," Yana said at the PSSI Askot Bandung Office, Sunday 6 February 2022.

He also hopes that efforts to produce talented footballers from the city of Bandung will continue, especially through this congress event.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Bandung City KONI, Nuryadi, responded positively to the collaboration between PSSI Bandung Askot, Bandung City KONI and the Bandung City Government.

He is committed to continuing to oversee the vision of the Bandung City Government to create a superior city through achievements, especially in the field of football.

"Let's keep the relationship and we have positive discussions to build the city of Bandung," he said.

The event was attended by the West Java Province PSSI Executive Committee, Herman. He said the city of Bandung is a football barometer for the West Java and National regions.

Therefore, various programs have also been prepared by West Java PSSI to maintain this positive trend.

Even though the atmosphere of the pandemic is still engulfed, Herman said, coaching on the football development process in the city of Bandung must be maintained.

"Hopefully it will remain competitive. This is also the role of the Bandung City Government and Bandung City KONI (becoming a barometer of football in West Java and Nationally). We appreciate this," he said.

For information, the Bandung City PSSI Ordinary Congress was also attended by the Head of the Bandung City Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) Edy Marwoto, as well as 36 assisted PSs and 3 associations: referees, futsal, and coaches. (ray)**
