PROGRAM ACCELERATION, KASN RECOMMEND JPT PRATAMA EVALUATION AND COMPETENCY TEST

Performance evaluation and JPT Pratama Competency Test within the Bandung City government will be carried out immediately. This is in line with the direction of the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN).

Acting Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana said this directive was delivered directly by the Chair of KASN, Prof. Agus Pramusinto when he consulted about the formation of the Bandung City Government Evaluation Team and Competency Team.

This consultation opportunity was also supported by discussions with the KASN Commissioner, Prof. Agustinus Patent and two assistants of KASN for Region II Supervision, Kukuh Heruyanto and Andi Abubakar.

According to Yana, the Head of KASN gave a statement so that the performance evaluation process and JPT Pratama Competency Test could be carried out immediately. This step is to support the realization of regional heads' political programs and promises.

"He (Head of KASN) supports the Acting Mayor to complete his promise at the end of his term of office until 2023," Yana said after consulting, Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Yana said the meeting with KASN was a directive during a consultation with the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of West Java Province some time ago.

 "The West Java Provincial BKD suggested to consult directly with KASN in order to get good advice and steps so that the process goes well and the best results too," he said.

At the meeting the Head of KASN gave advice to Plt. Mayor to continue the implementation of the performance evaluation and JPT Pratama Competency Test within the Bandung City government.

Yana is also ready to follow the suggestions and directions from KASN because it is in line with her commitment to fulfill her political promises before her leadership term ends in September 2023.

"I hope to fulfill my Political promise with the deceased (Mang Oded) to serve the community in an excellent manner," he added.

Given that the remaining term of office is less than two years, Yana hopes that this step can accelerate various programs and political promises that have been previously designed with the late Oded M. Danial.

Yana revealed that the evaluation and competency test process is part of an effort to get a complete picture to support the steps and policies that are made simultaneously and effectively.

"The main principle is that I need a team that can engage with full speed to realize the promises and programs that the deceased (mang oded) and I have planned."

This meeting with KASN also confirmed that the performance evaluation process and competency test were running well and in accordance with regulations. After this, the evaluation team and the competency test team can immediately speed up the process.
