Officials of the Bandung City Government no longer require pens and papers. This is because the Bandung City Government now has an electronic letter platform.

This application also makes correspondence faster and more accurate.

Through suratonline.bandung.go.id, it promotes efficiency in time and, obviously, paperless. So, working is more practical.

“Certainly, I appreciate this event. Hopefully, by the deadline: on 1 April, electronic letters can be applied in the entirety of the Bandung City Government,” he said.

He said that the system made administration in the Bandung City Government more practical and efficient. It even conserved papers and ink used.

“This really makes governmental system more effective and efficient, even paperless. Efficiency in time, papers, and ink,” he said.

Yana, as the leader in the Bandung City Government, had applied it. Yana ascertained the time required was also remarkably short.

“If possible, online, it is still done here. The system already exists and I use it. Apparently, it is easy,” he said.

Additionally, concerning Sipaku (Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Administrasi Kewilayahan Terpadu), he instructed it to be applied in all regions.

“Sipaku has just been used in 19 sub-districts, we instruct all 92 wards to apply it,” he stated.

Because of that, he said that with the integrated system, then the government, one of it was its administration, was more practical.

“Let us become more effective, because this application really reduces interactions between the service provider and the served. Especially, in the Covid pandemic, minimalizing interactions,” he said.

In the same place, the Head of the Communication and Informatics Agency of Bandung City, Yayan A. Brilyana, said something regarding efficiency working system. In short, this implementation was a follow-up procedure for the received letters so they had the property of having to be addressed immediately.

With the electronic letter, the government can be better, coordination is easier, leaving no obstacles,” he said.

He added that the acceleration of the implementation of this application was justified based on the circular letter of the Mayor of Bandung City on letters and archive division. It is based on the Regulation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 95 of 2018.

“With the circular letter of the Mayor on the standardization of application for website letters and regions stating that every regional government is required to and must immediately implement this online letter application,” he said.

Furthermore, he said that the implementation of this application was a special leader instruction (Instruksi Khusus Pimpinan or IKP) requiring all regional governments to apply it no later than 1 April 2022.

“As for its features, they are: activity agenda, management for sending and receiving letters, letter verification, letter delivery between regional governments, online dispositions and electronic signatures,” he said.
