According to the Instruction from the President of Indonesia, vaccination is one of the requirements for people for homecoming or want to traverse cities.

In fact, if you have been vaccinated with the third dose or booster, then you do not have to show antigen or PCR results anymore.

To make it easier for Bandung residents to get vaccinated, throughout April, the Bandung City Government provides free vaccination spread across 22 public health services.

They are: Arcamanik, Babakan Sari, Babakan Tarogong, Cibaduyut Kidul, Cijagra Lama, Cijerah, Cipaku, Cipamokolan, Derwati, Garuda, Griya Antapani, Ibrahim Adjie, Ledeng, M Ramdan, Mandala Mekar, Pamulang, Pasirkaliki, Pasundan, Puter, Riung Bandung, Sukajadi, and Sukarasa.

On average, the operational time of the vaccination starts from 07.30-13.00 WIB with Astra Zeneca and Covovax vaccines. You can directly visit and register in the aforesaid places.

However, not all locations provide vaccination service every day. Babakan Sari, for example, only provides the service form Monday-Thursday at 08.00-10.30 WIB with 1-3 dose.

Several areas providing the service from Monday-Saturday are: Babakan Tarogong, Cijagra Lama, Mandala Mekar, Pamulang, and Sukajadi.

This free vaccination is also a governmental means to supress Covid-19 cases and a preparation for the endemic.

Previously, the Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Yana Mulyana, stated that confirmed cases in Bandung City were only 36 cases per Sunday, 10 April 2022.

“We were once at 1.736 cases per day. However, alhamdulillah, the most recent data show there are only 36 cases. Hopefully, this is our effort in prosperity recovery of Bandung City residents,” Yana emphasized.

The decrease of Covid-19 cases in Bandung City also affected the PPKM level which fell to level 2.

“According to WHO, if vaccination in a region has reached 100%, then the pandemic has turned into an endemic. Up until now, vaccination in Bandung City has reached 113% for the first dose and 103% for the second dose. Finally, it has reached 24% for the third dose with the target of 30% by the end of April,” he said. (din)*
