Sharing during Ramadan, the Bandung City Government and Baznas of Bandung City Distributed Thousands Package Donations

The Bandung City Government and The National Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Bandung City distributed thousands of package donations to some people.

 

The donations were symbolically given by the Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Yana Mulyana, to the representatives in Nurul Falah Mosque, Rajamantri St., Lengkong Sub-district, Wednesday, 13 April 2022.

 

The donations covered:

 

1. Cash for 30 mosques across Bandung City proposed by subdistrict heads with each receiving Rp10 million.

 

2. Appreciation cleric support for 30 heads of Subdistrict MUI (the Indonesian Counsil of Religious Scholars) across Bandung City.

 

3. The aged duafa program covering 1.510 packages across Bandung City.

 

4. Orphaned duafa program covering 453 packages across Bandung City.

 

5. Dai program covering 302 packages across Bandung City.

 

6. Teacher of the Koran support covering 302 packages across Bandung City.

 

7. Mosque caretaker program covering 302 packages across Bandung City.

 

The event was also attended by the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna, the Head of the Ministry of Religion Office of Bandung City, Tedi Ahmad Junaedi, unsur Subdistrict Leader Communication Forum (forkopimcam), and the Head of the Regional Official Organization (OPD).

 

Additionally, tarawih keliling event was also equipped with a vaccination program as a governmental means in counter-measuring Covid-19.

 

Some donations were also given by the Ministry of Religion of Bandung City in a form of Alquran. There are also health packages from the Indonesian Pharmacists Association, namely: vitamin C and masks for the Jemaah.
