Thousands of people flocked to the Pakuan Building to deliver the body of Emmeril Khan Mumtadz (Eril), Monday 13 June 2022. Thousands of people have come to the Pakuan Building since Sunday 12 June 2022 night.

The public and public officials who came to the West Java Governor's Official House consisted of various layers. They read prayers and salawat to release Eril's departure, at 08.30.

Through an official statement on his Instagram, the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil explained, the public can perform takziah from Sunday 12 June 2022 at 22.00 to Monday 13 June 2022 at 08.00.

Eril's body was dispatched to the cemetery in Cimaung, Bandung Regency at 09.00 WIB. There are 5 cars that will take Eril's body to the cemetery.

The funeral was attended by only family members and closest relatives.

To minimize the potential for traffic jams, the bodies will be dispatched via the Pasteur toll road, exit at the Soroja toll road, then head to Cimaung, Banjaran.

Even so, the family did not prohibit people from visiting Eril's grave. Reportedly, people are allowed to make pilgrimages after the funeral procession.

Furthermore, the public is allowed to make pilgrimages from Tuesday 14 June 2022 to Saturday 18 June 2022 from 08.00 to 17.00 WIB.

In addition to being attended by the public, the takziah was also attended by public officials. A series of names ranging from the former Governor of West Java Ahmad Heryawan, PSSI Chairman Iwan Bule, Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) Dudung Abdurrachman, and many others, were observed to come to the funeral home.

The Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana and the Regional Secretary of the City of Bandung Ema Sumarna were also present in this pilgrimage.

He also said that his family had a close relationship with Eril. That's because Eril once went to the same school with his son.

"My wife and I pray that the late Eril (Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz) will have his sins forgiven, his Islamic deeds accepted," said Yana, who was accompanied by his wife, Yunimar.
