The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) is targeting to achieve a score of 3.7 in the assessment of the Bandung City Electronic-Based Government System Index (SPBE) in 2022. In this way, the service to the community will increase.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Bandung City Communication and Information Office, Yayan Ahmad Brilyana, at a coordination meeting related to SPBE with relevant stakeholders, at Bandung City Hall, Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

According to him, the Bandung City SPBE index in 2021 will reach 3.19. This value is already in the good category, but needs to be pushed again.

Moreover, he continued, starting in 2021 there will be new indicators in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform Number 59 of 2020, concerning the monitoring and evaluation of SPBE.

“The points in Permenpan RB Number 59 include the SPBE policy domain, the SPBE governance domain, the SPBE management domain, and the SPBE service domain. We are still low in the SPBE management domain,” he said.

Yayan added that his party together with all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) will try to encourage indicators that have low scores. The hope is that the SPBE index target in 2022 can rise to 3.7.

"This year we do not have an evaluation obligation based on the KemenpanRB Letter regarding the Implementation of the 2022 SPBE Monitoring and Evaluation, but we are still being monitored. Our internal evaluation target is at 3.7," Yayan said.

"We will push low scores, so we can raise the level," he added.

According to him, if the SPBE index gets better, of course it will have an impact on public services both online and offline which are getting better for the community.

Yayan hopes that OPD in Bandung City can collaborate together to increase the value of SPBE in Bandung City.

For this, the Regional Secretary for the City of Bandung, Ema Sumarna asked all OPDs to collaborate, and innovate by utilizing information technology in order to increase the SPBE index of Bandung City.

This is to support efforts to improve public services for the realization of excellent service.

"The progress of this SPBE should not be stagnant, it must show that SKPD and BUMD provide innovation-based services," said Ema.

Ema hopes that the results of this SPBE can be felt by the community and the community can get services easily

"The integration of SPBE must be felt by the community, and they can access (services) easily," he said. (rob)*
