Ahead of Eid al-Adha, the Bandung City Government ensures that the stock and prices of food commodities are in a stable condition.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Bandung City Department of Trade and Industry (Disdagin), Elly Wasliah while reviewing the Kosambi Market, Thursday 23 JUNE 2022.

The visit to the Kosambi Market is also a series of visits by the Indonesian Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan.

"Earlier, the Minister of Trade has checked directly. The price of cooking oil in Bandung is in accordance with the HET. We have also monitored several food commodities," said Elly.

He explained that some food commodities did experience an increase in prices. For example, Red Rawit Chili which is still around Rp. 100,000. Elly said, this was due to several factors, such as weather factors.

"There is an increase, but it is not far from the reference price," he said.

Meanwhile, the price of beef was observed to be around Rp. 140,000. Elly said, this price is quite stable.

Meanwhile, chicken meat ranges from Rp. 36,000 to Rp. 37,000. This price has relatively decreased from the initial Rp. 39,000.

The Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Zulkifli Hasan, said the same thing. He said the Central Government would make maximum efforts to maintain the stability of food commodity prices ahead of Eid al-Adha.
