Environmental conditions greatly affect a person's interest in reading. This is one of the ways to consider the presence of Kineruku, a bookstore as well as a library in the area of Jalan Hegarmanah No. 52, Hegarmanah, Cidadap District, Bandung City.

Kineruku has been transformed into a library since 2003 with the initial aim of sharing reading references for fellow book lovers.

"We were founded in 2003. Initially we wanted to share reading references so that many people could read them," explained the owner and manager of Kineruku, Budi.

This cozy design library has 3000 collections of books with various genres. From children's books to philosophy books. Therefore, there is no age limit for visitors who will buy books or just read books accompanied by a cup of sweet or bitter drinks.

"We also sell food and drinks, especially home-cooked food and coffee, so that it is more comfortable and comfortable to read too," said Budi.

Budi admitted that he really wanted to make kineruku have a less noisy atmosphere, because this place was intended for reading. So that the library rules still must be heeded by the visitors.

Located in a place that is not too high for the mobility of vehicles, is also one of the factors that make this library comfortable for reading various books.

Budi also has the hope that little by little the existence of this bookstore and library will increase the interest in reading for the citizens of Bandung City.

Because if the facilities and atmosphere are provided as comfortable as possible for reading, the trend of reading books will be even more in demand by the whole community.

One of the visitors, Adinda, said she was very happy that there was a place as comfortable as this to read a book and do her work.

“I am very happy that there is a bookstore with a library, selling food again, making it more comfortable to read and do assignments here. There are also many book references," he said.

So those who need a comfortable place and have lots of reading references just come to this one library. Kineruku is open from Tuesday to Sunday at 11.30-17.30 WIB. Happy reading! (Alya/Azzahra)**
