Eid prayer in congregation at the mosque can be 100 percent

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) ensures that the Muslims of the City of Bandung can carry out Eid prayers in congregation in mosques. This was conveyed by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana after a press conference on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

Through the revision of the Mayor's Regulation (Perwal) of the City of Bandung number 80 of 2022 regarding the Implementation of PPKM Level 1 Covid-19 in the City of Bandung, Yana said that the relaxation that had been given would not change.

"The relaxation that we provided at the last Bandung City Perwal was in the form of operating hours and capacity, we didn't reduce or increase it. It's still the same as during Eid al-Fitr," Yana said.

Nevertheless, Yana appealed to the public to remain disciplined in health protocols (prokes) at least using masks.

In addition, in the revision of the regulation, Yana also said that the change lies in the tightening and requirements for public spaces that we have given relaxation. The condition, the visitors must have done the vaccine dose III.

"We are targeting a minimum of vaccine dose III to reach 50 percent by the end of August. We will also intensify surveillance through the Pedulilindungi application," he said. (din)*
