Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana said, the activity resulted in various recommendations about maximizing food availability in each region.

"This activity resulted in several recommendations, especially regarding the availability of food in the world, especially in big cities in the world," Yana explained on the sidelines of receiving the MUFPP Delegation, at the Bandung City Hall, Saturday 6 August 2022.

As a follow-up, he added, of course, MUFPP has food needs in each city, so that it is able to provide facilities and support for all cities to meet food needs.

"Obviously, the MUFPP spirit to fulfill food needs in each city can trigger all cities to meet their own food needs through various programs and technological engineering," he said.

As evidence, several Buruan Sae in Bandung were visited by delegates and conference participants. Appreciation in the field is also given because Bandung can maximize the home page into food security.

"Having visited the Buruan Sae spot, this concept is Urban Farming, triggering even 7 million people in Indonesia to sign with MUFPP as a spirit to fulfill food needs that can be implemented," he said.

Yana added that the thematic Buruan Sae's plan was conveyed. Because the thematic needs to adjust the contours of the land as well as the people.

"Hopefully in the future it will also be carried out thematically in Milan. It depends on the characteristics of the land as well as the residents. So that later on managing any food, to any kind of livestock. We hope this can be done so that if the needs are adjusted to the characteristics of the land as well as the residents it can be sustainable," said Yana.

As a quantity, there are more than 300 Buruan Sae groups in Bandung. It is hoped that the movement can be massive and also be used as well as possible by the community.

"More than 300 groups, on average independent along with ads as well as assistants by the department and universities as well as various pentahelixes," said Yana.

In the same place, Head of MUFPP, Filippo Gavazzeni appreciated the movement carried out in the city of Bandung in providing land for food security.

"It's true, soil characteristics are the most important part in urban farming, especially thematic ones," he said.

He added that the city of Bandung was able to meet their own food needs in their respective regions.

"It can be seen that the city of Bandung fulfills its own food needs. This is good because it is an example of many cities in countries willing to implement it in their respective countries," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bandung City Food and Livestock Security Agency, Gin Gin Ginanjar, said that MUFPP continued to give appreciation during the agendas two days ago that were successfully carried out.

"Appreciation to the City of Bandung because they did not expect the event to be a success, also on the second day of the visit. The first day the presentation about Buruan Sae can be proven directly," he said.

For his interest, MUFPP invited this number one person in the city of Bandung to spread Burua Sae in the international arena.

"They were interested and invited the mayor to Rio Dejenerio to spread the word about Buruan Sae to many countries. This is a concrete step to see the results so that it can inspire other cities," said Gin Gin.

From the results of the conference, there are 6 recommendations which will be discussed at the peak event in Bali by the president of the Republic of Indonesia.

"So all the results that are given such as recommendations, there are 6 points that will be discussed later. The agenda for the discussion at the end of August in Bogor, is also part of the top agenda by the Indonesian president in Bali in November," he said.

The 6 recommendations in general, such as food handling, need the government's participation. There is also collaboration that can be improved for food development.

While achieving sustainable global food equity is critical to global growth and stability, it is therefore important to accelerate the development and deployment of programs for young people in the agricultural sector in urban and suburban areas.

"Collaboration between cities in the world can be improved. One is to move together, so that the government and other stakeholders participate in food handling," he explained.
