To note, the achievement of ranking one was obtained from the digitalization process in transactions at the local government level. In semester 1 of 2021, the Bandung City Government was ranked 9th in West Java.

In the first semester of 2022, the Bandung City Government shot up to now occupy the first rank.

"The assessment is based on various aspects of digitalization. So the aspects of implementation, realization and socialization," said Jefri.

For this achievement, the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, said that the Bandung City Government continues to accelerate digital transaction services. For example, PBB payment services via QRIS.

"The adaptation that we did when we were hit by the pandemic was to go digital straight away. All of our service processes were carried out online," he said.

Yana hopes that the acceleration of public services and digital transactions in the city of Bandung will continue to increase. So that people can get it more easily, as well as economic growth in the city of Bandung continues to increase.

For information, the service to pay taxes through QRIS at BPPD Bandung is the first in West Java.

Meanwhile, Head of Bandung City BPPD Iskandar Zulkarnain hopes that more people in Bandung will know about this feature.

“People need to know through the role of social media, print media, and online. In order to know the role of QRIS in paying PBB," he said some time ago.

As a reminder, the step to make PBB payments through the QRIS service is to scan the code (barcode) on the taxpayer's SPPT page. After being scanned, taxpayers can confirm detailed data regarding PBB data.

If the PBB data is correct, taxpayers can immediately continue payments through various digital financial services from banks, e-commerce or e-wallet.

"This innovation also maintains the motivation of taxpayers in fulfilling their obligation to pay PBB," said Zulkarnain. (ray)**
