Amazingly, it has only been implemented in 5 malls, the target has reached Rp 6.5 billion. The remaining 1 mall is in Paskal 23 with a target of Rp 2 billion.

Responding to this, the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, felt grateful for the targets that had been achieved. The reason is that the economic recovery in the city of Bandung has been felt to be stretching.

"The turnover in the 5 malls has reached Rp 6.5 billion, already exceeding our target. So this shows that the post-pandemic economic recovery has begun to increase. For the 6th mall, it has not been calculated," Yana explained on the sidelines of a market review. Krearif at Pascal 23 Mal, Tuesday 9 August 2022.

With the target that has been achieved, the curation of Creative Market participants will be more stringent so that the quality is better.

"Of course, with curation, so that the products that participate in the Creative Market are feasible and compete with products in the mall," said Yana.

He hopes of course for business people to continue to increase creativity and innovation.

"For SMEs, they continue to innovate and be creative. God willing, the government is here to provide facilities. Such as halal certificates, PIRT, Nutrition Fact as well as assistance," he said.

Yana said that the trend of economic growth in Bandung is increasing.

"If you look at economic growth, the trend is good, almost all sectors, trade, services and tourism," he said.

In the same place, the Head of the Bandung City Trade and Industry Service, Elly Wasliah, said that the turnover exceeded the target. Of all the 6 malls, the target is Rp. 6 billion, but only 5 malls have reached Rp. 6.5 billion.

"This year, in 5 malls alone, Rp 6.5 billion has been reached. There are a lot of visitors in Paskal 23. If we predict that in Paskal it will be Rp 2 billion, so the total is Rp 8.5 billion from the target of Rp 6 billion," Elly explained.

This shows a good indicator, because economic growth in the city of Bandung continues to increase.

Elly said that all sectors were increasing, such as fashion, culinary and even kraft.

"It's still superior, fashion, culinary. Because in Bandung the culinary is delicious and very tasty," said Elly.

He revealed, in addition to the Creative Market, the Bandung City Government will also hold the Bandung Week Market at Beacwalk Bali. In this event, there will be 20 business actors in the city of Bandung who are ready to compete with export quality.

"In addition, there is the Industrial Center Festival, the goal is for brands in the city of Bandung to be known by the public. Examples include Cibaduyut shoes, Binong Jati knitting center, as well as t-shirts on Jalan Suci," he explained. (yes)**
