In the city of Bandung, the UHH in 2016 reached 73.84 years. In 2017 it reached 73.86 years. Then, in 2018 it reached 74.00 years.

In 2019 it reached 74.14 years. Then, in 2020 it reached 74.28 years. Finally, in 2021 it rose to 74.46 years.

According to the Head of the Central Statistics Agency for the City of Bandung, Aris Budiyanto, when observed based on Susenas data (National Socio-Economic Survey), UHH tends to increase in the percentage of children under five who receive complete immunizations in Bandung.

In 2021, under-fives who received complete immunization in the city of Bandung were 66.31 percent higher than the conditions in 2020, which was 65.05 or an increase of 1.26 percent.

Posyandu activities will start running in 2021 compared to 2020 in line with the re-activation of several activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, in 2021 there will be two additional hospitals.

Broadly speaking, in the last five years, Bandung City's HDI tends to increase from year to year.

However, in 2020 Bandung City's HDI fell 0.13 percent or 0.11 points from 81.62 points to 81.51 points.

Based on data from the Bandung City Central Statistics Agency, the decline in HDI in 2020 was due to a 2.13 percent decrease in per capita expenditure.

Meanwhile, other components continued to increase, such as UHH, expected length of schooling (HLS), and average length of schooling (RLS).
