Bandung City Government Wins BKN Award for Large City Government Category

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) won the BKN Award from the State Personnel Agency (BKN) for the category of Competency Assessment for the Large City Government.

The award was given by the Deputy Head of BKN, Supranawa Yusuf to the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana at the BKN Award event, at Gedung Sate, Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

The BKN Award is an award for the Best ASN Management Agency (BKN) which is given the authority to provide guidance in the implementation of ASN management.

The award is given to Government Agencies that are considered to have succeeded in implementing ASN management in their respective scopes, ranging from aspects of procurement, performance management, implementation of Standard Procedures and Criteria Norms (NSPK), to the use of ASN digital services.

For this, the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana expressed his gratitude for the award that was won by the Bandung City Government. He hopes that personnel management in the city of Bandung will improve.

"Hopefully the Bandung City Government's staffing management will get better," he said after receiving the award.

In the same place, Deputy Head of BKN, Deputy Head of BKN, Supranawa Yusuf explained, in 2021-2022 BKN set 2 priorities, namely a merit system and one ASN (State Civil Apparatus) data.

"This merit system harmonizes government agency policies because it is dynamic. This technical policy must be harmonized," he said.

In addition, he continued, there was a simplification of the bureaucracy for the management of the state civil apparatus to the digitization of ASN.

"Simplification of the ASN management bureaucracy, as well as digitalization and online systems. We have committed together with the heads of BKD, BKPP or BKPSDM throughout Indonesia to implement a 'full online' staffing system. The initial target of each BKD head must use an electronic signature as a service," he explained. (yes)**
