Reaching 50 Percent, Bandung City Government Continues to Accelerate Booster Vaccinations
The Daily Head of the Bandung City Covid-19 Task Force, Asep Gufron, revealed that booster vaccinations in the city of Bandung reached 50 percent. However, the City Government (Pemkot) of Bandung continues to increase the number of recipients of the third vaccine.
For this reason, the Bandung City Government encourages sub-districts and urban villages to collaborate with health centers to increase the number of booster vaccine recipients.
"The booster has reached 50 percent. We ask sub-districts, urban villages, and health centers to collaborate," he explained at the Bandung City Hall, Thursday, September 29, 2022.
Asep said vaccination was an effort to suppress the spread of COVID-19. The hope is that the Covid-19 case will be increasingly sloping.
"Now the BOR (Bad Occupancy Rate) is very controlled, the Positivity Rate is below 5 percent," he explained.
For this reason, he encouraged the public to carry out vaccinations.
"This is on target. We invite people who haven't yet, let's carry out booster vaccinations. Vaccines are still available," he said.(yan)**
