Hari Kesaktian Pancasila

Especially for the younger generation who will be the pillars of the nation's successor. This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of the City of Bandung, Ema Sumarna after the ceremony at Bandung City Hall, Saturday, October 1, 2022.

"We continue to strive to maintain these values so that young people can also apply them, one of which is through the Education Office. So that they can become the next generation who is not only intelligent in terms of IQ, but also EQ and SQ," explained Ema.

That way, the younger generation is able to actualize themselves not only smart in terms of learning, but also in behavior.

"This should be our focus. How to prepare future generations to be much better through formal and non-formal education," he said.

Although he admits, in social life, there are still things that are not commendable by the younger generation. One of them is vandalism which is starting to happen again.

According to him, there is no good value in vandalism. Even though they want to exist, in this way and style they bring values that are contrary to Pancasila.

"I think this is what we have to eradicate. The Communication and Information Office has even made a competition related to this, and we will support it," he said.

He said, if the truth is found through CCTV, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) will take legal steps to create a deterrent effect for the perpetrators.

"We will monitor CCTV so that we do not act objectively. We will report it to law enforcement officials to process this criminal act," he said.

In addition, for Ema, the values of Pancasila in general have gone very well in Bandung. Especially in religious life in the city of Bandung has been very peaceful and conducive. Especially with the presence of several tolerance villages in the city of Bandung.

"It is proof that the harmony of life based on religion has been going well. Every citizen can worship according to their respective religions and beliefs. There is no longer talking about SARA elements," he said.

Especially in the momentum of the Anniversary of the City of Bandung (HJKB), community togetherness is very much felt in the Bandung City Cleansing movement. Collaboration from various parties was established.

"This shows the sense of unity that exists between us. There is no act that smells discriminatory. Human values such as a sense of sharing and caring continue to be maintained in the people of Bandung City," he said.

Furthermore, there are no authoritarian policies that impose their will, thus harming society.

Although he admits, there are still shortcomings and dissatisfaction felt by the community, but it is a natural thing. However, the overall process mechanism remains conducive.

"There is also a mechanism within the government. There is no overlap. No one feels powerful and powerful," he said.

"Everything is carried out proportionally and in line with their duties and main functions as well as their roles and responsibilities," he added.

This is a measure of the values of Pancasila in the city of Bandung that has been running well. Moreover, in its implementation, the Bandung City Government is assisted by various organizations, such as FKUB, an organization that specifically handles so that the community can continue to strengthen the sense of unity and nationality.

"We have the MUI and law enforcement officers. If there are things that deviate from the ideal basis of Pancasila, there are already measures and what kind of actions," he said.

Ema advised that all behavior of every level of society must be based on divine power, meaning all religions.

"If the basis is religion, there are no bad religious values and teachings. We must always live in harmony within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.

He continued, the people of Bandung must also continue to care and be humane, not feeling like they are superpowers.

"We continue to share proportionally. Hopefully this value can be applied to all age groups but of course with their respective portions and ways," he hoped. (din)**
