Around Asia Africa Closed for 7 Hours, Residents Are Urged to Use Alternative Roads
In connection with the meeting of parliamentary leaders of Islamic countries who are members of the 2022 Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Bandung City, a number of roads around Asia-Africa will be closed for 7 hours on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

He said that only the radius of the Merdeka Building was the focus, starting from Jalan Tamblong.
"The road closures were only carried out for one day, namely October 25, 2022. The closures were carried out on Jalan Asia Afrika, Sukarno, Homann, Cikapundung, and Braga Short," said Deden.
The closing is planned to start at 07.00-14.00 WIB. Because the conference was only held for half a day at the Merdeka Building.
"Then the delegates returned to the Pullman Hotel to continue the meeting there until it was finished," he said.
For the diversion route, especially at the closure of Jalan Tamblong, Deden explained, road users will be directed straight to Jalan Lengkong Besar and Lengkong Kecil.
"For those from the east of Simpang Lima, we will direct them to Jalan Lengkong Besar or Lengkong Kecil," he explained.
Meanwhile, drivers coming from the north, such as Jalan Sumatra and Tamblong, will be directed to the south.
"We will navigate south to Jalan Ciater, Ibu Inggit Ganarsih, Pungkur, and others," he added.
In the closing of the road tomorrow, the number of Satlantas personnel who were deployed to monitor the flow of the road was 212 people.
"We are also backed up by the West Java Police for security. In addition to other functions at the Bandung Police," he said.
Deden appealed to all the people of Bandung, especially road users who will cross Jalan Asia Afrika around Gedung Merdeka to find other alternative roads.
"In connection with the activities at Gedung Merdeka, there will be a closure of Jalan Tamblong Asia Afrika which might slightly hamper the journey of residents. Please use the previous alternative or you can look for other more efficient alternative roads," he urged. (din)**
