He stressed that the city of Bandung would grow as a city that obeys the rules, and not become a place for transgressions.

“There is an opinion that Bandung is a paradise for violations. I think we have to eradicate this stigma," he said.

Regarding the rules that have been made, especially regarding street vendors (PKL) in the city of Bandung, Ema asked for the strength of these rules.

The regulation covers street vendors zones and the regulation of trading activities in these zones is determined.

"Perda is expensive. Don't let this Perda be like a toothless tiger in the field," he said.

"In the red zone, there is no compromise. There is no space or opportunity (PKL activity). In the yellow zone, pay attention to the activity time," said Ema.

He also asked regional elements such as the Camat, Satpol PP, to collaborate with other elements to work together actively in monitoring the activities of street vendors in the field.

Currently, the Bandung City Government is continuing to regulate several street vendors' red zones in the city of Bandung. Areas that have become the focus of control include the Cihampelas Terrace and Bandung Square.

"I hope colleagues here are not tired of enforcing the rules. This is our collective commitment," he said.

In this activity, various developments in efforts to arrange street vendors in the city of Bandung throughout 2022 were explained. (ray)**
