Technically, this is related to parking, traffic management in the form of road engineering in and out of the mosque area which is located in Gedebage District, Bandung City.

Ema conveyed a number of notes related to access and operation of the Great Al Jabbar Mosque which is now one of the religious tourism destinations in the city of Bandung.

"Indeed, in the future there needs to be behavioral signs that regulate community visits," said Ema after conducting the inspection, Tuesday, January 10, 2022.

"The designation of the Al Jabbar Great Mosque for worship. Although it is legitimate there are people who come for religious tours. But it needs to be regulated by behavioral signs that regulate habits such as taking out the trash. Don't let the mosque area become a botram site," he added.

Regarding traffic flow, Ema also noted that later vehicle users visiting the Al Jabbar Great Mosque must fill the parking bag that has been provided.

For information, the parking area at the Great Mosque of Al Jabbar is estimated to be able to accommodate 1,500 four-wheeled vehicles.

"Don't let there be parking where it shouldn't be," said Ema.

Furthermore, regarding space for street vendors (PKL), Ema said this needs to be accommodated so that it does not have an impact, especially on the environment due to waste.

"The Governor also has a plan for street vendors, so they don't sell anywhere," he explained.

As for traffic management at the access in and out of the Great Mosque of Al Jabbar, Ema said that in the future there will be engineering so that it does not become congested at one point.

Technically, the Bandung City Transportation Agency has formulated a traffic engineering that will be tested on Thursday and Friday, January 12-13 2023.

“Hopefully this engineering will produce a positive impact. And please note, for security in this area requires personnel around 300 people. Even this still needs a lot of regulation,” he said.

Ema advised visitors to the Great Al Jabbar Mosque to always maintain, especially cleanliness in this area. So that the presence of the Great Al Jabbar Mosque is not accompanied by unexpected impacts on the environment in the city of Bandung.

“People who come here must be happy, but they must also be accompanied by awareness. Especially the awareness of protecting the environment," he said. (ray)**
