Getting Smarter Through Wifi Taman Kota Bandung

One of the facilities provided by the Bandung City Government to residents is providing wifi in a number of public spaces.

Currently there are as many as 51 wifi points provided by the Bandung City Communication and Information Service. The 51 Wi-Fi are spread across a number of city parks and houses of worship.

Among them are the Super Hero Park, Cibeunying Park, Flower Library, Elderly, Supratman, and Scout Park.

Other points are Cempaka Park, Radio, Pet Park, Panatayuda, Cikapayang, Pusdai Mosque, and Istiqomah Mosque.

Monitoring Public Relations of the City of Bandung in several parks, it can be seen that the community has enjoyed the facilities provided by the Bandung City Government.

Without the need to pay a fee or it's free, people can simply activate the Molecool application which is available on the Playstore and App Store. The app will then connect to it via wifi.

At the Super Hero Park, it was observed that several people were enjoying the wifi facility.

One of them, Endra Karsa Luantabarus (18). According to him, wifi in Taman Super Hero is easy to access.

"It's really easy, all you have to do is download the application, choose a park location, that's it," he said.

In fact, he said, the quality provided is not canned. Wifi speed is quite good.

"I try to open Youtube, it's really fast," he said.

According to him, the presence of wifi facilities in public spaces is very helpful. Apart from filling his free time, Endra, who is still a student, can use it to help with his assignments.

"I take lessons on Jalan Bengawan, when I take a break I often go to (this) park," he said.

In the same place, Heri Hermawan admitted that he often hangs out at the Super Hero Park.

The reason is, as an online motorcycle taxi driver, it is very helpful to have free wifi in public facilities.

"The access is easy, the speed is also pretty good," he said.

According to him, the presence of wifi really helps him work and get orders.

"Assisted with orders. Alhamdulillah, it has facilitated my work," he said.

In a different place, Lusianti (30) admitted that this was the first time she knew that there was a free wifi facility in Cibeunying Park.

"It's very helpful. As a trader, I can use this facility to sell on social media (social media)," he said.

According to him, free wifi can save quota and help promote their wares.

"Because selling while surfing the internet is fun, while promoting merchandise," he said.(yan)**
