Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana inaugurated the area, accompanied by regional elements as well as members of the Buruan Sae group 'Boemi Tani Singgasana', Monday 13 March 2023.

"We inaugurated Buruan Sae at the Throne Complex. The plants are also varied, there are fruits, vegetables, there are livestock too," he said.

Yana hopes that with the management of Buruan Sae in each region it can be consumed for itself so that food needs can be met.

"We can make more and more of these places, so that food security is sufficient. Because 96 percent is from outside, so we are increasingly able to meet food needs," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Bandung City Agriculture and Food Security Service, Gin Gin Ginanjar, said that the Bandung City Government continues to develop the potential of Buruan Sae in remote areas.

"Indeed, the city of Bandung continues to develop the number of Buruan Sae and this is 50 new groups this year," he said.

Gin Gin said that the uniqueness of this land is that it has an area of almost 2,500 square meters. In addition, the integrated concept facilitates plant growth.

"The concept is integrated, the supporting facilities are also quite representative and capital intensive. The watering equipment is an automatic system. Various types of plants managed by the Singgasana group are relatively middle to upper class but can join together to cultivate this garden," he said.

Currently, said Gin Gin, in the last 3 years there have been recorded as many as 335 Buruan Sae groups in the city of Bandung.

"In 2023 we are targeting 50 new groups. So it will increase, hopefully it will go well," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of Buruan Sae Boemi Tani Singgasana, Inkawati Wijaya, said that the area of the land is 2,500 square meters and is planted with various kinds of vegetables and fruits.

"There are kale, pakcoy, bowl salad, long beans, beans, corn, watermelon, durian, bananas. There are about 70 kinds in total," he said.

"DKPP provided seeds, infrastructure, checks, coaching training. It is hoped that Buruan Sae will develop to reduce stunting rates," he said. (yan)**
