According to him, religious differences and harmony give color to the life of the nation and state in the city of Bandung.

"Moreover, the diversity of ethnic cultures and religions in the city of Bandung is an undeniable fact. So it is only appropriate if the values of religious teachings frame these differences by making the city of Bandung a common home, where every difference has a place to grow and develop through friendship," Yana said at City Hall, Wednesday 15 March 2023.

He hopes that today's gathering can strengthen relations between religious communities as well as between religious communities and the government.

"The city of Bandung has facilitated through the presence of tolerance villages in 5 existing areas," he said.

To note, currently the City of Bandung has 5 tolerance villages, including the Tolerance Village of Jamika Sub-District, Paledang Sub-District, Babakan Sub-District, Balonggede Sub-District, and Kebon Jeruk Sub-District.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Paruman Walaka I Ketut Adnyana said, Bandung City Hindus support all policies that accommodate all Hindus and other religious communities in the City of Bandung.

This is in line with the term Catur Guru in Hindu teachings. He described Catur Guru as consisting of Guru Swadyaya (God), Guru Wisesa (leader/government), Recitation Teacher (teacher at school), and Guru Rupaka (parents).

"So once again, we assure you that Hindus will never contradict the policies of the Bandung City Government," he said.

"Once again we ask that our presence be accepted to make the city of Bandung our home together to gain knowledge from each other and everything. We are happy and sad here," he added.

In the same place, the Chairman of the Bandung City Forum for Religious Harmony (FKUB), Ahmad Suherman advised all religious people in the City of Bandung to support and participate in implementing government programs.

"Let's have a harmonious relationship with God, a harmonious relationship with fellow human beings, and a harmonious relationship with the natural surroundings," he said.(ray)**
