When you have time with your family or friends, hanging out in a park or public space is still fun.

You can walk, run lightly, play badminton, just relax or do other activities.

So, here are recommendations for public spaces in the city of Bandung that are fun to be used as places to hang out.

1. Terracotta Educational Park

The Terracotta Educational Park is located on Jalan Budi Indah, Cidadap District. This park was inaugurated by the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana on Monday 6 February 2023.

The park is the first educational thematic park in the city of Bandung. The park can be used by the community, especially students, to study in open spaces.

In this park, children can learn because the atmosphere is quiet, tables and chairs are also available.

In addition to the cool scenery, there are lots of flowers and terracotta that can spoil the eyes of visitors.

Want to immerse yourself in this place? Take it easy, there is no entry fee.

2. Ciraga Retention Pool and Cisurupan Wetland Park

The location is at the foot of Mount Manglayang to be precise in Cisurupan Village, Cibiru District, Bandung City.

Apart from functioning as a water conservation location, the Ciraga retention pond is also a public space that the community can use as a tourist attraction.

At Wetland Park Cisurupan, residents can also enjoy water tourism spots that present various angles for taking pictures and present cool air full of green scenery.

The concept of a green open space with a rural atmosphere in Wetland Park Cisurupan is suitable for people who want to unwind and spend time waiting to break their fast.

At that location, there are more than 19 retention ponds, one communal septic tank, one composting house, and a multifunctional creative gazebo.

3. Ciko Arena 1, 2 and 3

The public spaces named Ciko Arena 1, 2 and 3 were built on land that was formerly controlled by river banks. It is located on Jalan Binong Jati, Binong Village, Batununggal District, Bandung City.

In the Ciko Arena 1 public space, an underwater park (aqua scape) and a pump track were built. Residents can play, exercise, and recreation.

Meanwhile, at Ciko Arena 2 and 3, there are mini volleyball and a playground for children.

4. Curug Tilu Chat Room

One of the public spaces which was inaugurated in April 2022 and has its own uniqueness in the city of Bandung, namely the Curhat Curug Tilu Room. This facility allows the community to channel their thoughts (confine) in open spaces.

There are a number of rules for writing vents, including writing tools that are allowed to be used only chalk.

The vent facility is a quite unique facility to become a photo corner for visitors.

The location is on Jalan Sukamulya, Sukagalih, Sukajadi District.

5. C-Bodas RC Circuit

C-Bodas RC Circuit can be used for the general public who want to jog or have recreation. C-Bodas RC Circuit is located on Jalan Jejaway, Antapani Kidul

Residents who like RC can also play it here. RC Community will routinely use this facility from Friday-Sunday starting at 15.00-21.00 WIB.

Especially for those who want to play RC, they are charged IDR 35,000. These costs will be back on track for cleaning and safety.

There is a track with an area of 100 x 14 meters, there are several RCs that are usually played or competed here, such as the D12 pickup, 1/10 scale class, and 1/12 scale class.

To maintain security and order in the circuit, every day there will be officers on guard here. The officer will guide if anyone wants to use the open space.

While it's still the beginning of Ramadan, residents still have the opportunity to have a different ngabuburit with other family members. Occasionally, take a leisurely walk in the park. So, where do the residents want to go? (rob)**
