Safari Smiles of Ramadan Donate to Orphans and Marbot of Mosques

The former Gedebage area consists of five districts namely Buahbatu, Rancasari, Gedebage, Cinambo, and Panyileukan Districts.

The Chairperson of the Bandung City TP PKK, Yunimar Mulyana hopes that this activity can add to the solemnity of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

"Hopefully this activity can add to the solemnity of our worship. This is the second time the Ramadhan Smile Safari. This time it will be held in Buahbatu. Hopefully everyone can get blessings in this blessed month," hoped Yunimar.

"This activity is also one of our endeavors to obtain the blessing and reward of Allah in the month of Ramadan," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Buahbatu Sub-District, Edi Juhendi explained, the location was chosen for the Cijawura Islamic Boarding School Mosque because this place is one of the oldest mosques in the city of Bandung.

"This mosque has a history of fighting invaders. As many as 200 troops died while performing Friday prayers at this mosque. Hopefully their fighting spirit and obedience in worship can be an inspiration for us this Ramadan," said Edi.

In the event, Ustaz Darlis was also present to deliver his study to the participants who were present.

He described a hadith which reads: "Woe to a servant who finds the month of Ramadan and then Ramadan passes in a state where his sins have not been forgiven" (HR. Ahmad).

"If the month of Ramadan alone is not forgiven by Allah, what about the other months? Therefore it is important to consider our Ramadan practices," said Darlis.

Several ways to obtain forgiveness in the month of Ramadan are by following the traditions of the Prophet. Among them are ending the meal, hastening to break the fast with a small meal, optimizing tarawih, studying recitations of the Qur'an, and trying to get lailatul qadar.

In addition to tausiah, on the agenda of the Ramadhan Smile Safari TP PKK provided gifts to two marbots and 20 orphans from the former Gedebage area. (din)**
