2024 National Education Day: City Government Optimistic to Deliver Bandung City Children to 2045 Demographic Bonus

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) is optimistic that it can deliver instant education, especially Bandung City children, to get a demographic bonus in 2045.

"The Bandung City Government really cares about the education system in the City of Bandung. Even though this authority is a regulation that we can no longer challenge, it is a reference for implementation," said the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono at the National Education Day Commemoration Ceremony ( National Education Day) Bandung City Level in 2024, at the Bandung City Education Office, Thursday 2 May 2024.

According to Bambang, the Prone to Continuing Education (RMP) program in Bandung City is an effort to provide awareness and rights for female students to receive education.

"With the Prone to Continuing Education program, all Bandung residents, starting from preschool, elementary school, middle school, we even care for high school/vocational school in a sustainable manner," he said.

Bambang added, in 2045 there will be a demographic bonus. So education becomes one of the responsibilities in forming quality human resources.

"In 2045 we will experience a demographic bonus. Education has a noble responsibility, including children being able to fulfill development. This is not easy, but we are optimistic about doing it, so that the nation's children can master development to advance the country," he explained.

Previously, Bambang read the speech of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, who is now starting to feel the changes taking place. This is moved together with simultaneous and simultaneous steps.

"We are building a new face of Indonesian education and culture together with the Freedom to Learn movement. We have heard again that Indonesian children dare to dream because they feel free when studying in class," he said.

He added that we have seen teachers who dare to try new things because they have the confidence to know and assess their students.

"We have seen students who are ready to work and contribute because space for learning is no longer limited on campus," he said.
