This meeting was held to fight for workers' rights and improve welfare in the work environment.

The labor union representative and Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Bandung City Labor Day celebration, Hermawan, hopes that the Bandung City Government will help and provide space for labor union activities.

"We hope that the government can help in creating a better working environment for trade union members," said Hermawan.

At the meeting, various aspirations emerged from the workers. Trade union representatives also conveyed their aspirations, including revision of regulations, awards for workers and companies that comply with laws, as well as empowerment of tripartite institutions in the city of Bandung.

Not only discussions, there are also tausyiah, entertainment, door prizes and giving donations.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bandung City Manpower Service (Kadisnaker), Andri Darusman, welcomed the aspirations and desires of the labor unions.

Andri emphasized the importance of workers' welfare as well as the progress of entrepreneurs and the authority of the government in city development.

"Cooperation between entrepreneurs, labor unions and the government is the key to creating an industrial environment that is beneficial and profitable for all parties," explained Andri.

This year's May Day momentum was initiated as an opportunity to unite hearts and minds in achieving common prosperity.

Meanwhile, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, welcomed the meeting positively.

"It is hoped that solidarity between workers, entrepreneurs and the government can strengthen the development of a better city and provide a more decent life for all citizens," explained Bambang.

The Bandung City Government is committed to being actively involved in building a conducive work environment and paying attention to worker aspirations and company needs.
