Evaluation of Bandung Mayor's LKPJ in 2023: Bandung City Government Performance is Almost Perfect
Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, stated that almost all development targets in 2023 had been achieved. Of the 9 indicators, performance goals in achieving the 5 missions of the City of Bandung, only the liveable city index has only reached 94.97 percent.
Meanwhile, other indicators are the human development index, bureaucratic reform index, smart city maturity level, economic growth rate, Gini ratio, PRDB (Gross Regional Domestic Product) per capita, per capita expenditure, and collaboration in development financing achieved.
"Generally it is achieved above 100 percent except for the liveable city index with a value of 94.97%," said Bambang at the Bandung City Government Performance Evaluation Meeting in the 2023 Mayor's LKPJ Information Report, at the Savoy Homman, Wednesday 8 May 2024.
Therefore, Bambang would like to thank the Bandung City DPRD for providing recommendations for the Bandung City Government's LKPJ document.
"Thank you to the leadership and members of the DPRD who have provided critical input in the form of 99 recommendations on the LKPJ document. All of these recommendations have been followed up," he said.
"Thank God, it has had a positive impact on improving government administration in all related SKPDs, so that it is very supportive in achieving the performance of the 5 missions, as well as achieving the realization of the Mayor's promises in 2023," he added.
Bambang hopes that this evaluation meeting will run optimally, resulting in significant studies being carried out.
"The Special Committee (Special Committee) process is already underway, and hopefully the Special Committee process can run smoothly and through this working meeting to provide further review and correction of the report we have made," he said.
"In the future, we can provide recommendations to improve the performance achievements of the Bandung City Government," he added.
Meanwhile, Assistant for Government and Social Affairs, Asep Saeful Gufron, revealed that the Bandung Mayor's accountability statement at the end of the 2023 fiscal year describes the executive's performance in implementing regional development planning documents that have been agreed and stipulated in Bandung City regional regulations with the construction and substance of accountability material.
"This is in accordance with the performance targets of the Bandung City government's activity programs as stated in the changes to the Bandung City Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) for 2018-2023 which are outlined in the Bandung City Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) which is annual," he explained.
Asep added that the aim and purpose of holding this evaluation meeting was to provide an overview of the implementation of the Bandung City Government's performance achievements as stated in the Bandung Mayor's LKPJ for the 2023 fiscal year.
"There will be input from resource persons, including from special committee 1 of the Bandung Mayor's LKPJ for the 2023 fiscal year as evaluation and follow-up material to improve the performance of the Bandung City Government in the following year," hoped Asep.
In the same place, Chairman of Special Committee 1 of the Bandung City DPRD, Folmer Siswanto M. Silalahi hopes that public participation in providing input for the Bandung City Government can be better. So that the wheels of government in Bandung City run more optimally according to the needs of the community.
"This form of public participation in providing input plays a role. Because we have agreed to build this city not only by the government and DPRD, but with the concept of collaboration or pentahelix into one inseparable unit," he explained. (yan)**
