He said, later the street vendors selling in this area would use a disassembly or knock down pattern. Both in the east (Moh Toha Street) and west (Otto Iskandar Dinata/Otista) areas.

“We are currently studying existing regulations, so indeed there is a separate regional regulation that regulates conservation. I have also coordinated with the Mayor, in principle he agrees," said Ema.

“Besides that, I have also coordinated with the street vendor coordinator here. In principle, they agree to be recorded and no longer sell in inappropriate places," Ema added.

Later, the street vendors who are currently selling will be moved to several points that have been prepared on the west and east sides. The number of street vendors registered by the Cooperatives and UKM Office of the City of Bandung is 674, with details of 217 street vendors in the eastern region and 457 street vendors in the western region.

The street vendors will be selling at certain hours. Ema said this was an effort to organize the city without stopping ongoing economic activities.

"In the western region, maybe on weekends the number could be higher. Therefore, we will think about the arrangement," he explained.

He hopes that the arrangement of street vendors in the Tegalega area can be implemented immediately, so that the roads around the area maintain their beauty and aesthetics, and no longer cause traffic jams.

"Road sections such as Moh Toha or Otista can later be fully used for road users," said Ema.

Technically, Ema said the Bandung City PKL Task Force Team would coordinate and if all aspects had been fulfilled, then arrangements would be made immediately.

"As soon as it will be done, we will report it to the Mayor first," he said. (ray)**
