Commemorating the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, ASN Must Imitate the Morals of the Prophet

Ema made her request during the commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW held by the Bandung City Government at the Al Ukhuwah Grand Mosque, Wednesday 11 October 2023.

"This warning has various positive values. As his people, we certainly have to imitate and live a life like the Prophet Muhammad," said Ema.

Ema gave an example, one of the characteristics of Rasulullah SAW, namely being honest and trustworthy. Thus, ASN as public servants must also have honest and trustworthy characteristics.

"We as officials must be honest with integrity so that we can convey trust to the public. That is the characteristic of public servants," he said.

Apart from that, Ema again invited all ASN to implement zero waste in their respective work areas. Moreover, currently the city of Bandung is experiencing a waste emergency status.

Ema revealed that she is currently on safari to every sub-district to ensure that waste management is handled from the source.

"I've only gone around 5 sub-districts to ensure waste management. The remaining 25 sub-districts are left to provide education," he said.

Ema hopes that waste management in Bandung City will be unconventional, namely collecting, transporting and throwing away. However, you can sort it out starting from the source.

"So we encourage all ASNs and even employees in Bandung City to minimize the use of waste. So we can use tumblers for drinking. This is one of the efforts to reduce waste," he explained.

Meanwhile, Lecturer at the Commemoration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, K.H Tengku Maulana, said that as a Muslim individual you must have strong determination.

"The Muslim personality is consistent. Knows the limits, what is permitted and what is prohibited," he stressed. (yan)**
