Fantastic! Bandung Great Sale 2023 Achieves Turnover of IDR 69 Billion

The event included in the 213th HJKB series has been taking place since 27 September 2023 involving more than 1000 merchants from various industries, consisting of 4 tourist destinations, 76 service merchants, 93 hotel merchants, 181 fashion merchants, 166 retail merchants and 459 food merchants & beverages.

Head of the Bandung City Culture and Tourism Service, Arief Syaifudin, said that BGS 2023 achieved a turnover of IDR 69 billion.

"During the 33 days of holding BGS 2023, we achieved turnover through BRI Bank worth R69 billion," said Arief.

"Hopefully this achievement can continue to increase economic transactions from the tourism sector in Bandung City and increase tourist visits to Bandung City," he continued.

Meanwhile, Assistant for Economy and Development for the City of Bandung, Eric Mohammad Atthauriq, really appreciated the success of BGS 2023.

"Alhamdulillah, with a heart full of gratitude because this event has been successfully held, this success not only reflects the economic potential of our city, but also marks the solidarity and hard work of all components involved," he said.

"Hopefully the successful implementation of the 2023 Bandung Great Sale can continue to increase enthusiasm for business actors to continue to improve the quality of their products," hoped Eric

The BGS 2023 closing ceremony series was held for two days on 17-18 November 2023. The closing event was enlivened by various musical entertainment from the GEISHA Band, 3 Nama and Saung Angklung Udjo.
