Idris explained that the problem of street vendors on Jalan Dalem Kaum entering the red zone has been going on since 2013 but is still not resolved.

"Relocating culinary sellers on Jalan Dalem Kaum to the basement in 2016 was the first step and now the Bandung City Government through the Special Task Force is relocating other sellers to the Alun-alun Basement. Hopefully this will be a solution that ends this problem," he said.

Even though socialization and meetings have been held at the sub-district, sub-district, Satpol PP and KUKM offices, Idris admits that he is still experiencing problems.

"Not all street vendors agree with this transfer because they are afraid it will impact their income," he said.

Nevertheless, outreach continues, especially as Satpol PP also takes a humanist approach in communicating with street vendors.

"We are humanistic in our approach to street vendors, all stages have been carried out, including socialization, such as being invited to meetings and being warned, but if we cannot complete this with a humanist approach, then we will be forced to take repressive action. We have to implement the applicable regional regulations and regulations, that in the red zone must be disciplined," he explained.

Idris Kuswandi explained that this control is important because Bandung City is a tourist destination so it must be neat and beautiful.

"Bandung is a tourist destination so it has to be neat, especially as it is known as Paris Van Java, the City of Flowers. This ordering is also accompanied by a solution to move it to the basement of Bandung Square and later when it is complete it will be launched," he said.

With the involvement of various parties and prevention efforts carried out, it is hoped that the relocation of Dalem Kaum PKL to the Alun-alun Basement can be a positive step towards order and comfort in the city of Bandung.

"To the street vendors of Dalem Kaum, hopefully they can move soon, to a neat city for the comfort of all of us," he concluded. (tiw)**
