Covid-19 Cases Reappear, Regional Secretary Urges People to Maintain Immunity and Health
Covid-19 cases in Indonesia are increasing again. Ministry of Health data shows an increase of 300 cases.
For this reason, the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna, appealed to the public to continue to maintain immunity and health by maintaining their diet and exercising regularly. He also asked the public not to worry too much but to remain alert.
"Avoid excess carbohydrates and fats and consume more protein so that your immune system and health increase," said Ema while leading the Flag Raising Ceremony at Bandung City Hall, Monday 18 December 2023.
He said that the pandemic experience over the last 2 years should not be repeated, because it has an impact on all aspects of life, both physical, mental, psychological and economic.
"As a result, various government plans and performance indicators cannot be implemented, which has a detrimental impact on society," he said.
Apart from that, he reminded the public to get the complete vaccine. For people who have not yet received the complete vaccine, please immediately come to the health center to complete it immediately.
Ema also instructed the Health Service to immediately remind them and be obliged to collect data regarding vaccine completeness.
"For people who don't have the complete vaccine, get it immediately. This is for our collective health," he said.
