Bandung City Government will open vacancies for 838 ASN formations in 2024
The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) is opening vacancies for 838 formations for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) for Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) in the 2024 procurement.
Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), Adi Junjunan Mustafa, said that the Bandung City Government had received approval in principle for the need for ASN within the City Regency Government for the 2024 budget year from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform.
"At the National Coordination Meeting on preparations for the 2024 ASN procurement, which was attended by the Acting Mayor, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform gave approval in principle for the need for ASN within the 2024 City Regency Government," said Adi at Bandung City Hall, Friday 15 March 2024.
"Thank God, the minister agreed. God willing, in 2024 838 ASN will be accepted. So the formation will be 838 ASN," he added.
He said that CPNS admissions were open to general applicants, while PPPK was a priority for non-ASNs who had been recorded on the BKN database.
"For general CPNS, although the number is less than PPPK. Meanwhile, for PPPK, the direction is to prioritize non-ASNs who have been recorded on the BKN database. That is a national program, because by the end of 2024 the non-ASN problems must be resolved," he said.
He said that in detail the need for ASN vacancies in 2024 would be officially announced by the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono.
"Later, of course, the acting mayor will announce it in detail on the BKPSDM website. We will also announce it through the media," he said.
This admission is planned to start from July to August 2024.
"There are 3 registration periods this year, starting in April for official schools, then May-June for central agency admissions and for regional ones in July-August," he said.
