This was conveyed by the Head of the Bandung City People's Welfare (Kesra) Section, Momon A. Imron at the Bandung City Tali Asih Baznas peak event at Cikapundung Riverspot, Bandung City, Thursday, April 4 2024.

"According to the monitoring results of the Bandung City Government, the prices of basic necessities ahead of Eid al-Fitr are not yet stable, so the presence of Baznas really helps the people of Bandung City who need them," explained Momon.

Momon said that from year to year zakat management funds continue to increase. He hopes that Baznas will not only be successful in its management but also in its distribution.

"In 2023 Baznas will succeed in managing up to IDR 29 billion. "God willing, this year it will be even bigger," he explained.

Momon hopes that the Bandung City Baznas can improve the living standards of mustahiq.

"Increasing the level of mustahiq can be done by increasing the number of recipients," he hoped.

At the Tali Asih Summit, the Chair of the Bandung City Baznas, Akhmad Roziqin, expressed his gratitude to all parties who had contributed and supported the activities from start to finish.

"This activity is carried out routinely and we are committed to always upholding this mandate in accordance with our respective proportions," said Akhmad. (ziz)**
