Head of the Bandung City Fire and Disaster Management Service, Gun Gun Sumaryana, said that going home needs to be comfortable but the house you leave behind must also be safe.

"Don't forget to turn off the electricity, lock the doors and windows of the house," explained Gun Gun.

He appealed to prospective travelers to remove the gas cylinder regulator. If you have a pet, it is better to leave it in the nearest animal care facility.

"Unplug the gas cylinder regulator, this has to be removed especially if you leave the house for a long time. Apart from that, leave your pets with you, this is also important," he said.

Apart from these main things, he asked residents to report to the RT or RW head when they want to go home.

"Report your departure to the RT or RW and closest neighbors so they know. Leave a telephone number where they can be contacted," said Gun Gun.

Gun Gun also appealed, apart from being at home, to also prepare a light fire extinguisher in the vehicle.

"This must also be prepared, there is concern that there will be a short circuit in the vehicle," he explained.

Bandung residents can immediately call if a fire or disaster occurs at 022 113/7207113 or immediately call 112 if an emergency occurs, free of charge!.(yan)**
