Part of Public Services, Bandung City Government Maintains and Improves Infrastructure
State Civil Apparatus as public servants are obliged to provide the best for society. Therefore, ASN must carry out their duties and authority well.
This was conveyed by the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono when giving directions at the Bandung City Water Resources and Highways Service (DSDABM), Wednesday 17 April 2024.
"Our job is to provide public services. DSDABM's job is to take care of bridge roads and so on. What we have to take care of, we carry out according to our authority," said Bambang.
Bambang said that the city of Bandung as a service city must be able to provide excellent service. One of them is adequate infrastructure for the community.
"We have tourism and services. How are the conditions in Bandung comfortable for the people? Reduced traffic jams, better infrastructure, starting from parks, sidewalks and so on," said Bambang.
For this reason, Bambang asked the apparatus to have a high sense of sensitivity, especially when there are reports from the public.
"Try to build a sense of sensitivity, we are sure that we can complete the tasks given as a service to the community," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Bandung City DSDABM, Didi Ruswandi, admitted that he was carrying out various tasks. These include improving road services and reducing inundation.
"The strategic target of improving road services is 95 percent. Starting from indicators of road stability and the percentage of road lengths that have inclusive sidewalks," he said.
He said that this year drainage and sidewalk work will be carried out and is being carried out. There are 10 points in several strategic locations in Bandung City.
Starting from the construction of the sidewalk on the north side of Jakarta Canal Road (FO Pelangi to Jalan Subang). Construction of sidewalks on Viaduct Road, rehabilitation of sidewalks around Tegalega field and Lodaya field.
Rehabilitation of the Elderly Park sidewalk, rehabilitation of the Jalan Gatot Subtoto sidewalk (Segment of Jalan Turangga - Pejuang Street), construction of the Jalan Purwakarta channel and rehabilitation of the Jalan Sukagalih channel.
"Apart from that, we will carry out work on deep recharge wells, shallow infiltration wells and arrangement of river borders and spring borders," he said. (yan)**
