Not only that, he also reminded us to maintain physical health during the Hajj rituals and when carrying out worship in the holy land.

"Take care of your health, follow the existing rules. There are many Hajj officers, because not only is the aim of worship, but it also brings a great name to our country and also the city of Bandung," said Bambang at the Hajj Manasik Guidance activity at Pusdai West Java, Tuesday 23 April 2024 .

He hopes that prospective Hajj pilgrims who are still waiting to depart, aka the waiting list, can leave with other pilgrims.

According to the data, in 2024/1445H, there were 2,637 prospective pilgrims who had paid for the Hajj pilgrimage, while there were 2,517 pilgrims planning to depart.

"So, as organizers, next year all Hajj pilgrims in the city of Bandung can go, this will be prioritized. There are 120 pilgrims on the waiting list or reserves, we hope that the Hajj will be better organized, so that it doesn't take too long," he said.

In the same place, the Head of the Bandung City Ministry of Religion Office, Abdurahim, revealed that in 2024 as many as 2,517 prospective Hajj pilgrims from Bandung City will depart.

"A total of 2,517 prospective pilgrims departed in seven groups. There are complete groups and there are also joint groups with other city districts," he said.

He revealed that the departure is scheduled for 11-13 May 2024.

"With a quota of 2,517 pilgrims, they will start departing from May 11 2024," he said.

Abdurahim said that there will be 2 departure locations in 2024. Some from the Bekasi Hajj Dormitory depart at Soekarno Hatta Airport and the Indramayu Haji Dormitory depart at Kertajati Airport.

The Indramayu Hajj Dormitory will dispatch pilgrims from Cirebon Regency, Cirebon City, Majalengka Regency, Indramayu Regency, Kuningan Regency, Subang Regency, Sumedang Regency, Bandung City and Bandung Regency. The total congregation is around 13,690, of which BIJB Kertajati Airport will serve 30 groups.

Meanwhile, the Bekasi Hajj Dormitory will serve 57 groups from 18 city districts, namely from Depok City, Bekasi City, Bekasi Regency, Karawang Regency, Sukabumi City, Sukabumi Regency, Bogor City, Bogor Regency.

Also included are West Bandung Regency, Cimahi City, Purwakarta Regency, Cianjur Regency, Garut Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Tasikmalaya City, Ciamis Regency, Banjar City and Pangandaran Regency.

"Because the capacity for departures in Kertajati is only 30 fleets and nine city districts in West Java, including Bandung City," he said.

The ritual activities will be held April 23-25 2024.

"This also includes the congregation now carrying out guidance at the KBHU level, after implementing it at the sub-district level. We are implementing law number 8 of 2011 concerning the organization of the Hajj and Umrah, which is also an obligation, the government provides guidance, services and protection," he explained.

The results of this guidance, continued Abdurahim, are expected to be a mabrur, mabruroh and quality Hajj.

"The congregation can be independent, have quality knowledge, and when they leave and return home, they will be safe, they will have memorized the Hajj journey, and will have a prosperous Hajj," he said. (yan)**
