Halal Bihalal DWP Bandung City, Linda Invites to Implement the Spirit of Ramadan in Everyday Life

Linda expressed this when attending the DWP's Routine and Halal Bihalal Meeting at Bandung City Level with the theme 'Strengthening Brotherhood, Building a Joint Commitment for the Progress of DWP in Bandung City' at the Crown Hotel, Friday 26 April 2024.

"The values of Ramadan must be implemented in our daily lives. After Eid al-Fitr, we can continue to increase our enthusiasm for hoarding rewards like in the month of Ramadan," he said.

One of the implementations, continued Linda, is to restrain lust and strengthen Islamic brotherhood and friendship and brotherhood between fellow humans.

"We must always strengthen this ukhuwah and friendship. How can we ensure that it is closely intertwined? Firstly, we should never try to divide things up. We are all equal before Allah SWT. We must complement each other and help each other, remind and strengthen each other. Everyone has to be united," he said.

"Hopefully we will meet in the next Ramadan in a condition where we are all physically and mentally healthy and of course our trust is increasing," he added.

Meanwhile, Chair of the Bandung City DWP, Fitri Damaiyanti Hikmat Ginanjar, said that this halal bihalal was a momentum to create a close sense of family between members of the Bandung City DWP.

"Hopefully with this activity the Islamic brotherhood and brotherhood between us will continue to increase so that it can be of benefit to the DWP and the people of Bandung city in general," he said.

This halal bihalal event was continued with a religious lecture delivered by Ustaz Ramdan Juniarsah and ended with mushafahah. (rob)**
