For this reason, you need a quick solution so that your body can get back in shape and your enthusiasm will return quickly. Drinking spices for example.

In the city of Bandung, there is now a healthy drink shop for elderly teenagers, Drink Rempah Indonesia. That is the name of a shop that sells spice-based drinks.

They want to change the perception of healthy drinks such as herbal medicine, which is always bitter, to be more acceptable to young people's tongues.

"It started with us as elderly young people. We went out for a while and caught a cold, worked a little, were sleepy during the day. We tried spiced drinks but they were still packaged traditionally, that became our inspiration," said the owner of Drinking Spices Indonesia, Desti Nopianti

"Finally we developed it in Bandung, creating a contemporary spiced drink outlet like today, healthy drinks don't need to be bitter," he added.

Kedai Minum Rempah Indonesia is around 3 years old, to be precise it opened on July 4 2021. After previously opening two shops in Gegerkalong and Cibaduyut, now Minum Rempah Indonesia is here with two new branches in Dipatiukur and Antapani and one shop in Cimahi.

The shop currently provides more than 25 types of spices, ranging from ginger, galangal, galangal, turmeric, ginger, alang root, nutmeg leaves, cloves, cardamom, lemongrass, and others.

These spices are obtained from local farmers. Others, they get by shopping at local markets.

Desti also revealed that her shop processes these spices directly.

"So we process it fresh, not powdered," he said.

Kedai Drink Rempah Indonesia sells 25 menus which are divided into several categories, such as menus for immune boosters, mood energy boosters, and drinks for feeling unwell. Each menu has different properties and composition.

"We researched this category from consumers. We divided it based on complaints from young people," he said.

Various menus are a mainstay, one of which is an immune booster drink made from this spice served cold with various refreshing spice blends consisting of turmeric booster, ginger booster and kencur booster.

"There is also a ginger spice concoction for tiredness and lethargy. And the hot menu contains ginger spices, to prevent colds," he said.

Indonesian Spice Drink Shop every day from 08.00 to 23.00 WIB. The prices offered are very pocket friendly, starting from IDR 13 thousand - IDR 19 thousand only.

He said there was an attractive promo for elderly teenagers on April 28 2024, there was a buy 1 get 1 promo for telang flower ice menu.

Desti hopes that the habit of drinking spices will become a culture among young people so that their health will continue to be maintained and they will be more productive.

"If your body is healthy, children will easily be more productive and the number of elderly teenagers will continue to decrease. Bandung residents, especially young people, so that they don't get old easily, let's live healthily, one way is by drinking spices," he said.
