BANDUNG GOVERNMENT DISTRIBUTES KADEUDEUH CONTINGENT OF PON AND PEPARNAS

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) has begun to distribute kadeudeuh for sports people who excel and are dedicated to PON XX and Peparnas XVI Papua 2021. To appreciate the sports patriots, a budget of Rp. 16.5 billion has been budgeted.

The Mayor of Bandung, Oded M. Danial, stated that kadeudeuh was given to athletes and all officials. In addition to the medal winners, athletes who have not made it to the podium also get kadeudeuh because they have fought in the sports arena.

"Thank God, tonight we give kadeudeuh to sports people who excel in PON. The amount is around Rp. 16.5 billion. But today it was given to them, the first stage," said Oded after giving kadeudeuh symbolically at the Bumi Sangkuriang Hotel, Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Odedhopes that this attention for sports people will trigger the spirit to be more successful and make the name of the city of Bandung proud. So that it can be a reflection for athletes to remain loyal and dedicated to the city of Bandung.

"I hope that with the achievements given by the sports people in the city of Bandung, they will then be given kadeudeuh by the Bandung City Government as a concern, hopefully this can also make them feel more at home in Bandung. Better in Bandung, strengthen Bandung," he said. .

Oded also thanked the Bandung City DPRD for providing full support for the provision of kadeudeuh for sports people. So that the budgeting process runs smoothly.

"I also express my appreciation to the DPRD members who have supported kadeudeuh budgeting, because this is a joint result. I am grateful and grateful, 50 members of the council support the Bandung City Government," he said.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Bandung City DPRD, Tedy Rusmawan, stated that the allocation of kadeudeuh funds in the APBD was a concern for sports development. Considering the city of Bandung as a warehouse for athletes in West Java.

"To answer the doubts so far, God willing, this proves that we really care. We discussed the APBD for athletes with this achievement, a total of Rp. 16.5 billion," said Tedy.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the Bandung City KONI, Nuryadi, was very grateful that finally the attention of the Bandung City Government could be realized. He was also relieved that the government's commitment to paying attention to the sport sector remained high.

"I feel proud and touched, thank God, tonight, I have added confidence that the Bandung City Government always gives kadeudeuh or awards to sports people," said Nuryadi.

Nuryadi ensured that hundreds of athletes and their officials would remain loyal to defend the city of Bandung. As the biggest supplier of athletes for West Java, the City of Bandung also practically gave away most of the medals at the last XX Papua PON.

"On behalf of myself and my staff, I thank you. Because this is what we are waiting for and motivates us to give the best in sport for the benefit of the city of Bandung, for West Java," he explained.

The chairman of the Bandung City NPCI, Adik Fachroji, said the same thing. According to him, this kadeudeuh is very meaningful for athletes with disabilities.

"Alhamdulillah, all of them were cured when they heard this award. Thank God, athletes from Bandung City contributed the most medals to West Java in Peparnas," said Adik.

It should be noted that the kadeudeuh recipients for PON and Peparnas receive the same nominal value. The amount is adjusted proportionally to the achievements and number of matches. For the individual event, the gold medal winner gets a kadeudeuh of Rp. 65 million, a silver medal of Rp. 35 million, and a bronze medal of Rp. 20 million.

In the doubles event, the gold medal received Rp. 45 million for the kadeudeuh, Rp. 30 million for the silver medal, and Rp. 17.5 million for the bronze medal.

For the team number 3-5 people, the gold medal is Rp. 40 million, the silver medal is Rp. 25 million, and the bronze is Rp. 15 million.

Then the team number above 5 people will get a kadeudeuh of IDR 35 million for the gold medal, IDR 20 million for the silver medal, and IDR 12.5 million for the bronze medal winner.

Meanwhile, the coaches and team managers were also given Rp 40 million for the gold medal, Rp 25 million for the silver medal, and Rp 10 million for the bronze medal.
