BENCHMARKING TO SALATIGA CITY, YANA PREPARED ATM

During the visit, the Deputy Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, was accompanied by the Assistant for General Administration, Dadanggantina and the ranks of the heads of sections within the Assistant for General Administration. The arrival of the Bandung City Government group was received directly by the Deputy Mayor of Salatiga, Muhammad Haris and his staff at the Salatiga City Hall.

Yana explained that Salatiga City as a Tolerant City was chosen because it was reported to be able to overcome several problems, one of which was regarding waste management. So the Bandung City Government wants to replicate it. Another reason is that Salatiga City has won the Adipura award three times.

"The city of Bandung has the concept of an ATM (Observe, Copy, Modify) to overcome problems. We continue to learn in various ways that are beneficial for the citizens of Bandung," explained Yana Mulyana.

"And maybe the Bandung City Government can imitate or modify it, to help overcome the waste problem in Bandung City," added Yana.

Not only the waste problem, he also wants to know the various potentials of the City of Salatiga in other sectors. Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor of Salatiga, Muhammad Haris welcomed the arrival of the Bandung City Government. He hopes that the visit can produce something positive for each region.
