Maintain Immunity, Yana Invites Residents to Exercise Regularly

PLT Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, appealed to the residents of Bandung City to continue exercising even though the Covid-19 pandemic has not ended. Because exercise can increase immunity.

This was stated by Yana when she inaugurated the Gateball Essa Gateball Club (EGBC) field at the Kamboti Hotel & Sari Ater Kamboti Gateball Court Jalan Lemah Neundeut, Saturday 8 January 2022.

"With sports facilities like this, not only for training facilities, but also for increasing immunity, providing education and training for the community," said Yana.

According to him, the more fields that are presented by the private sector, the more sports facilities can be added in the city of Bandung.

"Hopefully in the future, gateball can become more popular. Because this sport combines technique, strategy. This sport can also be followed by all age groups," he said.

Please note, gateball is a sport that is usually played by two teams. Gateball is a sport modified by the game of croquet, which uses a hammer to hit the ball.

This sport does not recognize certain limits so it is classified as a barrier-free sport (sports without limits).

In the same place, the Chairperson of ESSA Gateball Club, Danni Ardianto, stated that the presence of the gateball field was the result of collaboration with Sari Ater Kamboti. The hope is that the sport of gateball can continue to grow.

"We are trying to provide motivation, innovation and new ideas, especially towards sportainment. Currently, sports have been combined with entertainment so that it is easily accepted by the community," he said.(sya)*
