LVRI Ready to Support Bandung City Development
(Plt) Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana assessed that the Veterans Legion of the Republic of Indonesia (LVRI) is a forum for veteran fighters to advance.
Therefore, Yana hopes that LVRI will be able to produce programs and activities that are oriented towards strengthening a strong national identity.
This was stated by Yana during the 65th Anniversary at the Bandung City LVRI Branch Headquarters on Jalan Aceh, Monday, January 10, 2022.
On that occasion, Yana also inaugurated the renovation of the Bandung City LVRI headquarters.
"Congratulations to our elders, the warriors who have given their service up to now," said Yana.
"Hopefully this event will further strengthen LVRI's role in preserving and passing down the values of struggle for future generations," he added.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Bandung City Kesbangpol Agency, Bambang Sukardi, hoped that there would always be collaboration between LVRI and the Bandung City Government.
"This activity refreshes the spirit of our parents, we as the next generation of their struggle," he said.
In the same place, the Head of the Bandung City LVRI, Padmo Notowisasto, thanked the Bandung City Government for helping the Bandung City LVRI facility.
"Thanks to the Bandung City Government for helping us, various activities to better facilities this time," he said.
Meanwhile, according to the Head of LVRI West Java, Tayo Tarmadi, LVRI must be good at collaborating with organizations and the Bandung City Government.
"Good at collaborating and collaborating with organizations. Participate and support the implementation of development in their respective areas," said Tayo.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Bandung City DPRD, Tedy Rusmawan, also hopes that LVRI will continue to show its role.
