The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) distributed assistance to assisted Street Vendors (PKL) at 6 points. This assistance was handed over by Plt. Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, Tuesday 11 January 2022.

The six street vendors who received assistance were the Bandung Square Basement, Cikapundung, Malabar Street, Cihampelas Terrace, Sultan Hasanuddin Street and Sultan Agung Street. The assistance provided included masks, hand sanitizers, and chairs for street vendors.

On the sidelines of the delivery of assistance, Yana explained that this assistance was an effort by the Bandung City Government so that the assisted street vendors could provide convenience for customers when selling.

"Hopefully it will be useful. Street vendors who receive assistance can sell comfortably, so can buyers, and can also improve the economy," he said in the street vendors area of ​​Jalan Malabar Bandung.

In line with Yana, Secretary of the Bandung City Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Agency, Iwan Rusmawan explained, the distribution of this assistance is an effort so that business actors such as street vendors can run their business while maintaining health protocols.

He also hopes that this assistance can be useful and that the application of procedures when selling is expected to increase convenience, both for traders and buyers.
